The big highlight in the Ski World Cup calendar: The Hahnenkamm Race in Kitzbühel will once again bring the world's best skiers to compete on the legendary Streif.
The route is as famous as it is infamous, feared and loved: the breathtaking descent from the Streif. The slope is considered one of the most demanding runs in the world - steep slopes with gradients of up to 85 percent, speeds of up to 140 kilometers per hour and jumps of up to 80 meters in length on the “mousetrap” speak for themselves.
For Kitzbühel, this annual highlight in the World Cup calendar is more than just top sporting achievements, as the race also represents a social highlight. Prominent personalities from all over the world show up in the Gamsstadt and attract numerous journalists.
