The imposing mountain landscape between the Hahnenkamm and Kitzbühel has provided the unique backdrop for “Klassik in den Alpen” for many years now. The regular audience of the open-air concert has long appreciated the special charm of the event. The mixture of classical opera arias and well-known international songs offers plenty of variety for both experienced opera lovers and beginners.
Opera star Elīna Garanča once again enchants thousands of visitors and the unmistakable mountain panorama makes the evening a special experience of artists and spectators alike. Elīna Garanča and Karel Mark Chichon have been performing together with young, up-and-coming opera talents at their open-air concerts for years. This stage often marks the beginning of an international career for the artists.
This atmospheric evening will take place again on 6th July 2024, with FIRST Real Estate as the presenting sponsor. Amidst the picturesque backdrop of the Kitzbühel Alps, just a stone’s throw away from the finish slope of the world-famous “Streif”, opera star Elīna Garanča will bring the mountain peaks of the Gamsstadt to life at “Klassik in den Alpen”.
