Pushing limits. Reaching summits.
Der Kitzbüheler Radmarathon
On 7th September 2025, Kitzbühel once again becomes the center of the cycling world. The Kitzbüheler Radmarathon is considered one of the toughest events of its kind, demanding everything from its athletes with 216 kilometers and more than 4,600 meters of elevation gain. A true adventure on two wheels – full of energy, emotions, and unforgettable views.
The course leads from Kitzbühel over Pass Thurn into the Pinzgau region, past the impressive Krimml Waterfalls, through the Zillertal valley and across the challenging Kerschbaumer Sattel before returning to the Gamsstadt. But the real highlight awaits at the very end: the legendary climb up the Kitzbüheler Horn. With gradients ranging from 10 to 22 percent, it is known as Austria’s steepest cycling mountain – a summit that represents the ultimate challenge for many riders.
The Kitzbüheler Radmarathon is more than just a race: it is a celebration of sport, a gathering of international cycling enthusiasts, and a highlight of the regional event calendar.
